Jarvis Engineering Consultants is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled REVIT / BIM Technician to join our team in our Abbotsford office.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong 3D modelling expertise and the ability to contribute effectively to the design and coordination of building services systems. Working under the guidance of a project engineer or designer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors.
If you possess the qualifications and attributes outlined below, you can expect to take on the following responsibilities:
Adhere to the company’s BIM standards.
Complete assigned design tasks within the designated timeline.
Generate Autodesk Revit drawings from sketches, mark-ups, and/or electrical building system designs.
Verify modelled content against sketches/mark-ups to ensure accuracy of work.
Have familiarity with structural and architectural models to identify space limitations and interferences.
Develop system layouts in co-ordination with the structural, architectural, and mechanical components of a building.
Be capable of sizing/designing services in accordance with office standards and local codes.
Check layouts of services for interferences with other components of the building such as structure, ceilings, diffusers, ducting, piping, etc.
Undertake any other tasks assigned by Project Managers required to assist in the completion of projects.
