Kwantlen Science Challenge at KPU: Team Registration
Please note: This form should be completed by the school teacher who is the team coach.
Please complete the form to register your team(s) for the Kwantlen Science Challenge. We love to celebrate students’ experiences! To do this, we kindly ask that all students provide a signed photo waiver.
Once all Senior and Junior team spots are filled, additional applications are waitlisted. In case of team dropouts, waitlisted teams will be contacted in order. New spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each team must consist of five (5) students, with the option to include up to two (2) substitutes. Each school is permitted to register only one (1) team per division. If additional teams are interested, please indicate your request below to be added to the waitlist.
As part of registration for the Kwantlen Science Challenge (KSC), each participating student must have a signed Photo/Video Waiver completed by their parent/guardian.

- Submit options:
- Scan and email completed waivers in advance (send to science.events@kpu.ca), OR
- Bring all signed paper copies on the day of the event.
Students without a signed waiver may still participate fully but will be provided with a “no photos” identifier (e.g., sticker or lanyard) to ensure they are not included in photos/videos.
Important: Any student not permitted to be photographed must be introduced to event organizers at the time of on-site registration, so that we can ensure they are identified appropriately.
Please note: Photos and/or videos will be taken during the event and may be used for KPU promotional materials only (e.g., brochures, posters, website, and other advertising). No personal or identifying information will be included with these materials.
