Elizabeth R., Criminology
Participating in the SRIG program has been valuable throughout my research journey. The program provided me with the structure, support, and resources needed to conduct in-depth research on a topic that is very important, which allowed me to grow as a researcher and a student. One of the most meaningful aspects of SRIG was its emphasis on ethics and integrity, especially when dealing with a sensitive topic. The financial support I received through this program made this research possible, as it removed any barriers that would have limited my ability to recruit participants. The SRIG program empowered me to elevate marginalized voices and contribute to research that aims to inspire systemic change. I am very grateful for this opportunity and for SRIG’s investment in quality research.
