Participating in the SRIG program allowed me to take my capstone project to a professional level. The funding and support gave me the freedom to experiment with advanced garment construction techniques and materials that would have otherwise been out of reach. I learned valuable skills in technical documentation, iterative design, and user-centered problem-solving. The experience boosted both my confidence and portfolio and reaffirmed my passion for creating functional, socially relevant designs.
