Participating in the SRIG program has been an incredibly rewarding experience that allowed me to bring a socially impactful idea to life. The funding gave me the opportunity to prototype, test, and improve my design beyond the classroom, especially when unforeseen issues required a second round of testing. The support encouraged me to take risks, explore new materials, and engage meaningfully with users and experts. This experience not only strengthened my technical and problem-solving skills but also gave me the confidence to pursue human-centered design in real-world contexts. I’m grateful for the opportunity to turn research into action.
