The SRIG funding played a crucial role in bringing my capstone project to life. With their support, I was able to collaborate with textile labs and vendors to experiment with sustainable fabrics and healing finishes. This partnership allowed for material testing, natural dye trials, and iterative prototyping—something that would have been difficult without funding. The result is a nearly market-ready product that combines wellness and performance in gym wear. The SRIG program not only helped elevate the quality and depth of my research but also gave me a real-world experience in product development and industry collaboration.
