Born in Northern Ontario, in a French-Canadian family, I have a keen interest in the challenges and life experiences of francophones in minority situations. My studies have led me to a career as a post-secondary educator and administrator in a school of tourism, an area which blends the elements of business, travel, languages, heritage, art, and culture.

My studies focused on learner-centered curriculum development; I found the topic of brain-based learning particularly interesting.
