Pharmacology for LPNs is a distinct educational stream for LPNs to learn common pharmaceutical drugs, including application, contraindications, and resources for reference. By utilizing the structure of our online RN Pharmacology, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) will learn fundamental pharmacology within the scope of practice and standards of the BCLPNC. Learners will also explore the legislation governing the requirements for control and sale of narcotics, and how this is applied in the clinical context. With the expanded scope of practice for LPNs, there is considerable ambiguity that will be addressed to ensure the roles and responsibilities of the LPN are distinct.
