Seeking Alumni Rep for KPU board of governors

KPUAA is seeking an alumni representative to serve on the KPU board of governors for an upcoming term. This is a volunteer leadership role and the prospective candidate would possess executive leadership skills to govern a large organization’s policy and affairs which will add value to the current board. To be considered for this role, please submit your CV and a short biography with your contact information including email, phone number, and address to alumni@kpu.ca  by December 31, 2014 at 5:00pm. Applicants will be reviewed and shortlisted in early 2015 and the appointment date is tentatively scheduled for July 2015.

 

Mentors with experience in research, accounting and technology required

KPU launched a mentorship program for alumni to give back in a meaningful way and share their experience with students or fellow alumni. We are currently looking for alumni mentors with a background in research and sociology, the technology industry, and accounting. If you are an alumnus and interested in being a mentor in these capacities, please complete the application form and submit it to the alumni relations office as soon as possible. Additional details about the mentorship program are available at the link above.

 

KPUAA chapters program

The program is a way to stay connected with your special group of friends, meet new people, and stay connected to the university in a way that is meaningful to you. In general, chapters help promote the interests and welfare of a particular group of alumni. To find out more about creating a chapter and the program, please click here.
