Fall 2026: Graphic Forms - Storytelling at the intersection of image and text. This hands-on class we will explore the relationship between image and text in composition: from conception, scriptwriting, and thumbnails to rough drawings, revision, inking and lettering. The course will also consider tools, techniques, publishing formats and platforms. Students will engage in drawing and writing exercises, collaboration, and the creation of image-and-text-based writing projects in different forms of visual storytelling. 
Advanced drawing skills are not required to do well in this class, emphasis will be placed on originality and creativity.
