Erika Golfetto

Bachelor in CG Animation from IED Milano

Regular Faculty. 

Erika Golfetto is a Senior Texture Artist at Sony Pictures Imageworks, currently working on animated feature films such as K-Pop: Demon Hunters and Goat. With over a decade of experience in the animation and VFX industry, Erika has contributed to a wide range of projects spanning television, streaming, and feature films.

Originally from Italy, Erika graduated from IED in Milan and further refined her craft through advanced training at Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Los Angeles. She began her career as a 3D generalist before moving to Vancouver, where she worked as a lighting/compositing artist at Bardel Entertainment on DreamWorks shows like Dinotrux Supercharged and Dragons: Rescue Riders. She later joined Mainframe Studios, where she advanced from junior texture artist to asset supervisor, contributing to Barbie TV movies and DreamWorks’ Madagascar: A Little Wild.

In addition to her studio work, Erika is passionate about education. She serves as Program Coordinator and instructor for the 3D Animation and Modelling program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), where she mentors emerging artists and develops curriculum that bridges academic and industry standards. She regularly leads classes in texturing, shading, and surfacing using industry-standard tools and techniques.
