Kristine Baz
BA in Film, Diploma in 3D Animation & Visual Effects
Kristine Baz is a Compositing Artist originally from Lebanon, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Film, and began her career working primarily in television and advertising. After moving to Canada, she specialized in Visual Effects and has since worked in Compositing on feature films and episodic series across a range of studios.
Alongside her industry work, Kristine teaches in the Advanced Visual Effects program at KPU were she also serves as Program Coordinator. She contributes to initiatives that bring students, faculty, and industry together through events and outreach, while supporting the program’s growth through the integration of new tools and technologies.

Areas of Interest
Cinema, most specifically independent films, watching behind-the-scenes content and VFX breakdowns, and discussing them with students. I also enjoy photography, space-related topics, and spending time outdoors: walking, hiking, and exploring the nature around us in BC!
