JRNL 4900 - Community Reporting: 

Students in this course will consider the roles and responsibilities of journalists in society, particularly at the local level. They will produce a portfolio of stories through a variety of community-based reporting and writing assignments. They will gain experience with various types of storytelling, including news and features, as well as formats, including writing, audio/video and social media.

*Strong English writing skills are required.
