Personality Development in Emerging Adulthood

Fall 2018 | Tuesday, 4 - 7pm | Surrey

Using Erik Erikson’s model of adolescent and adult development, we will explore how a life story approach can reveal distinct features of an individual’s personality and development during this formative phase of life. Specifically, this course will investigate how people’s life story can reveal important facets of their personality as they navigate their world in the areas of religion, morality, work, and relationships on their road to adulthood. The course will integrate theory, past research, case studies and the students’ own experiences in exploring the development of personality.
