I teach in the department of Fine Arts at Kwantlen, specifically in the subject of Ceramic Art. I received my undergraduate degree at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and my MFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. In my professional practice I have exhibited nationally and internationally and have received grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the BC Arts Council. I create sculptural work that deals with pattern and architecture, and in my teaching practice I encourage students to find creative solutions to the challenges my assignments present.
