Description:
All Access Play: Exploring Accessibility & Inclusivity in Games
Entertainment Arts KPU is launching All Access Play, a new prototype event designed to spark conversation and hands‑on exploration around accessibility and inclusivity in games. This initiative brings together students, creators, technologists, and community partners to highlight how thoughtful design can open the door for more players and more ways to play.
On May 28, the Melville Centre for Dialogue at KPU Richmond will host an afternoon of keynotes, panels, lightning talks, and demos focused on accessible game design and assistive technologies. Visitors will be able to test devices, learn from experts, and connect with organizations leading the way in inclusive innovation.
This event is presented in collaboration with PlayAbility, Neil Squire / Makers Making Change, the Cerebral Palsy Association, and Technology for Living—partners whose work continues to expand what accessible play can look like.
All Access Play is also a first step toward a future annual event held during Accessibility Week. It reflects ENTA’s commitment to building creative spaces where everyone can explore, take risks, and grow together.
The event is free, open to all, and requires no registration. Light refreshments will be available. Whether you’re a student, a developer, or simply curious about accessibility in games, you’re invited to join us and be part of shaping what inclusive game design can become.
