Description:

This Indigenous Curriculum Panel will consist of Indigenous educators from various nations who will be discussing what’s working, what’s not, and what are some ways that we can move forward together in mutually respectful ways.

Topics will include
•    Relationships to people, place, community, and future generations;
•    Interconnected ways of teaching and learning;
•    Holistic knowledge and storytelling;
•    Emotional labour and institutional responsibilities;
•    Tensions involved in weaving Indigenous Knowledges into the academy; as well as
•    Responsibility to carry Indigenous Knowledges mindfully and reciprocally.

During the event, there will be plenty of opportunities for the audience to participate in these conversations; and we hope that you will join us with open hearts and minds.
