Join us for a Social Insurance Number (SIN) workshop led by a Service Canada officer! You will learn more about SIN, why it’s important, and how to keep it safe.
After the presentation, stay for personalized assistance to complete your SIN application right on campus—avoid potential wait time of couple hours at Service Canada offices.

Location: Fir 128, Fir Building, Surrey Campus
Time: 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. : SIN Presentation.
- 2:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. : SIN Application.
Important: Please bring the following documents if you wish to apply SIN on campus with the officer.
- Your Study Permit (original form).
Passport and any ID provided by the federal or provincial government (original form).
Registration is required! Registered students receive priority on SIN application.
Note! Please be advised that each SIN application takes approximately 15 minutes and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, until no later than 4:00 p.m. Register student receive priority.
