COOP 1101: Introduction to Professional and Career Readiness is now open to all KPU students, even if you're not currently in a program with a Co-op option. This short course teaches you how to stand out in today’s job market—covering resumes, cover letters, interviews, LinkedIn, and more.

This 2-part virtual session will walk you through:

Part 1: COOP 1101 – Career Preparation for All Students

  • What the course covers

  • Who should take it

  • How to register and make the most of it, even if you’re not in the Co-op Program

Part 2: Co-op Program Overview

  • How to gain paid, hands-on work experience in your field of study

  • What programs offer Co-op and how to apply

  • Tips and timelines for Spring/Summer 2026

  • Plus: A guest speaker from KPU International will explain Co-op Work Permit requirements for international students

Who Should Attend?
