Maryam Garrecht

Maryam has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Studies with an Honours in Health Care Management from York University in Toronto and she also holds a certificate in Leadership from UBC Sauder Melville School of Business. Maryam’s past work experience includes working at the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR). Additionally, she has worked with HIV/AIDS patients at BC Women’s Hospital’s Oak Tree Clinic, and she has worked at a Naturopathic Clinic assisting cancer patients. Maryam started working at KPU in 2016 in Financial Services, then worked in the Office of the Provost, and she recently left the Office of the Vice President, Students, to join the Faculty of Health.
