4. PRIZING AND WINNER SELECTION
One (1) Entry will be randomly drawn from all eligible available entries within three weeks of the Survey’s closing date (the “Contest Draw”) to be awarded, as follows:
a one-time $900 (CAD) KPU TUITION WAIVER, with an approximate value of $900 CAD OR
a $900 (CAD) gift card (e.g., to Amazon or a grocery store located within the KPU region), as chosen by the selected entrant and mutually agreed upon by KPU (the "Prize")
The Prize must be accepted as awarded. The Prize is not transferrable or assignable and, in the case of the tuition waiver, must be redeemed for the Summer 2026 semester. There are no cash substitutions for the Prize and no cash credit will be given on any tuition fees applied that may be less than the Prize awarded. Only one Prize will be awarded to the selected entrant. Odds of winning depend on the number of valid eligible Entries received.
5. PRIZE CLAIM CONDITIONS
The individual named on the Entry drawn (the “Selected Entrant”) will be notified by email within three weeks of the Survey’s closing date. The Selected Entrant will have three weeks from the date they are contacted to claim the Prize. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the person who submitted the Entry to the person claiming the Prize, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Selected Entrant’s submission will be deemed to be the Selected Entrant in question, unless otherwise determined by KPU.

If the Selected Entrant is under the age of 16, their parent/legal guardian must sign on their behalf. Where there is a return of winner notification as undeliverable or a failure to claim a Prize within the required time period or an inability to reach a Selected Entrant, including failures of the Selected Entrant to (i) provide proof of eligibility, (ii) provide release documents, (iii) provide other required documentation (if requested) in a timely manner, or (iv) correctly answer the skill-testing question, or other non-compliance with these Official Rules such event may result in disqualification, forfeiture of the Prize of that Selected Entrant and, at KPU’s sole discretion, selection of an alternate eligible entrant for the forfeited Prize, who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner. In the event of the Prize recipient’s withdrawal from KPU, no cash refund of the tuition waiver will be made. The tuition waiver cannot be used towards tuition already paid in the event that the student has pre-registered for a course/program and has paid a deposit/full tuition.
