KPU STUDENTS
KPU business student Aaron Bhawan is spending his summer learning from the best creative agency in Canada. He is the first to hold the opportunity-of-a-lifetime internship.

INDUSTRY

The B.C. government announced a $6.8-million investment to increase the number of trades seats at public post-secondary institutions throughout the province. KPU will receive $259,000 to fund 68 additional seats.

EVENTS

For the sixth year, the Langley Environmental Partners Society will put on their Langley Eats Local Festival. The event will be held this Wednesday at KPU Langley (20901 Langley Bypass).

Twenty years of democracy in South Africa will be celebrated with a three-day conference at KPU Richmond's Melville Centre for Dialogue. Held August 20-22, the event will include a special 'Tribute to Mandela', which will feature world-renowned academics and activists from South Africa.
