Join us on April 28, 2027 for the 3rd Annual Student Pitch Competition, where we'll celebrate our talented student innovators and experience the excitement of entrepreneurship in action. We event is open to:
- Students
- Faculty and staff
- Alumni
- Industry professionals and organizations
- Community members
Location: Kwantlen Polytechnic University - Surrey Campus, Cedar Conference Centre (Room 1205).

Who Can Compete? Open to all KPU students, including students in their final semester in Fall 2026.
Competition Process and Timeline
Register on this Website to receive your application. Note that our online application includes a form and short video with information about your idea.
- Application Deadline: February 15, 2027
- Round 1 Pitches: March 8, 2027
- Final Pitch Competition: April 28, 2027
Free Mentorship Bootcamps
Competitors can attend free bootcamp mentoring and coaching sessions. On select days in January and February, students can work with faculty members to prepare and enhance their pitches. It is highly recommended that students attend these sessions. A light lunch will be provided for the in-person sessions. Email us at studentpitch@kpu.ca to register for bootcamps.

The bootcamp facilitator, Afshin Doust is an entrepreneur and business leader with a consulting, technology and finance background. He has founded several startups, helping them grow, secure investments and develop strategic partnerships.
