The pitch competition will be open to all KPU students. Students will participate in a series of three pitch rounds. The first round will be 3-minute video submissions to select 10 qualified candidates by a faculty panel. These 10 candidates will then move to the second round and their video will be shared on the registration page. The second round of students will present a 5-minute in-person pitch with Q&A, evaluated by the selected faculty panel. The five candidates will move to the final pitch round where they will present to a selection of guest industry judges.
Its purpose is to foster the creation and support of student projects as they capitalize on their ideas and projects to achieve concrete sustainable solutions to address real-world social, environmental and economic problems in all sectors, generating value and opportunity for themselves and the community.
A series of events will take place leading up to the final event to capture the interest of the university’s student body and engage them. We want students to connect with the entrepreneurial community and learn what entrepreneurship means at The Melville School of Business.
