Program Highlights
Human Resources Management
A post-baccalaureate diploma is a credential designed for individuals who have already completed a bachelor’s degree and want to gain specialized, career-focused education. Rather than repeating a full degree, a post-baccalaureate allows you to build targeted expertise, meet professional designation requirements, and advance your career more efficiently.
Whether you're developing your organizational management skills, looking for formal education for career development, or are transitioning to a human resources or management role, this program will prepare you to address human resources management in organizations today.
We offer an applied-learning approach based on the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) required competency framework. The CPHR BC & Yukon has set a foundation for HR excellence within Canada and internationally.
Our post-baccalaureate diploma program prepares you to work in the human resources management profession and advance your career to the management level. Your role as an HR professional is a trusted business partner, able to think strategically and add value to business operations and outcomes.
Who Should Pursue a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resources Management?
We've designed our program for adult learners with a bachelor-level degree or experience, such as mid-level managers wanting to upgrade their skills, recent graduates seeking a specialization in Human Resources Management or career professionals looking to transition into the human resources field. This program also offers an opportunity for international students with a degree looking to upgrade their skills and obtain a Canadian credential or wanting to leverage their educational experience to ready themselves for work in the Canadian marketplace.

Graduate
Pursuing the Post Baccalaureate Diploma in HR at KPU has been transformative for my career. Coming with no prior HR experience, the program touched on all core areas of HR, giving me a strong foundation to grow. The smaller class size in the course gave me the personalized attention that I was looking for. The applied learning approach of the program helped me polish my skills. What stood out for me in my journey was the guidance and support from my professors. Their creativity made the classes very engaging, while preparing me for real world HR challenges. I not only strengthened my HR knowledge but also honed my HR skills set, which has been valuable in my career journey.
Looking back, what really helped me reach my goals was to think differently- approaching the challenges with new perspectives, in a way no one has done before. That mindset, along with positive attitude and consistent efforts made all the difference.
