Areas of Interest

I currently hold the position of health economist in the Cancer Control Research Department at the BC Cancer Agency. My research endeavours are focused on the themes of health services and policy, cancer survivorship, health economics and cancer, epidemiology, and research in cancer. In particular, the generation, synthesis and application of interdisciplinary knowledge to improve the health of the community and provide more effective health services and policy. My teaching philosophy reflects my interest in interdisciplinary teaching, my belief that my primary role as an educator is that of a mentor and that learning is enhanced through diversity.
