We are currently seeking a Landscape Labourer to join our team. This role involves all aspects of landscape construction and previous experience is required. The ideal candidate enjoys outdoor physical work, possesses strong problem-solving skills, is eager to learn, and excels in a team environment.
Role & Responsibilities
• Hardscape construction and installation, including paver laying, natural and concrete walls, masonry, flagstone, concrete, and ponds
• Equipment operation and maintenance
• Planting and yard maintenance
• Soil placement, grading, and drainage
• Lighting installation
• Building supporting structures
• Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools
• Loading and unloading building materials
• Removing debris and waste from work sites
• Additional duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience in at least 2 of the following is required: Hardscape construction and installation, general landscape construction, or equipment operation for landscaping
• Familiarity with hand tools (e.g., power drills, hammers, and saws)
• General knowledge of construction operations and procedures
• Positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Strong organizational skills and dependability
Compensation
$20-$30 per hour depending on skills and experience
This position is available on a full-time basis, primarily within the Lower Mainland and at various project sites.
