About the Program:
Landscaping with Heart is a Vancouver-based social enterprise run by Coast Mental Health, providing professional landscape maintenance, power washing. We employee people with barriers to employment. When you join this team, you are contributing to something bigger than the work itself.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, patient, and people-focused Landscaping Crew Lead to supervise and mentor a small crew of clients who are living with mental illness. You will deliver quality landscaping and power washing services across various sites in Vancouver while fostering a safe, productive, and encouraging work environment. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires equal parts technical skill and compassion.
Qualifications:
- Landscaping certification or demonstrated professional experience
- Proficiency with a variety of landscaping tools and equipment
- Experience with power washing equipment
- Full Class 5 BC driver's licence in good standing — firm requirement, non-negotiable
- Basic First Aid certification
- Previous supervisory or crew lead experience
- Patience and a genuine interest in supporting others
- Strong communication skills and a calm, professional attitude.
Compensation: $24.00-$26.00/hr
