Job Description
SAKAI Landscape & Design Ltd. is seeking a full-time permanent Landscaping Supervisor.
Job Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscapers and helpers who maintain gardens and other landscaped areas
- Organize the planning and maintenance of gardens and other landscaping work and assign duties to workers
- Plan, estimate, and maintain materials and labour requirements
- Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities
- Resolve issues and report progress to clients
- Train workers in job duties and safety procedures
- Assist in hiring workers and managing operations of the company
- Perform the same duties as landscapers such as pruning, trimming, paving stone installation, building waterfalls, retaining walls, garden fences and patios, maintaining lawns, etc.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, working at heights
Work Location: Various locations
Work Site Environment: Outdoors
Educational Requirements: Completion of secondary school and must be proficient in English.
Job requirements: Minimum 3 years of work experience in landscaping
Start date: ASAP
Wage: $37.00/hour - 30-40 hours per week
Benefits: - 4% vacation pay
