Volunteer with KPU International
KPU students have a unique opportunity to learn, lead, and give back by volunteering with the Office of Global Engagement’s Short-Term Programs. This experience allows students to support visiting international participants while developing leadership, intercultural, and professional skills. As a volunteer, you play an essential role in welcoming students, supporting program activities, and representing KPU’s commitment to respect, inclusion, and global engagement.
What volunteers will do?
As a volunteer with the Office of Global Engagement, you will play an active role in supporting KPU’s Short-Term Programs and welcoming visiting international students. Volunteer activities may include:
Supporting orientation sessions and program events
Leading or assisting with campus tours

Helping students navigate campus services (e.g., student ID, Compass Pass, key locations)
Supporting extracurricular, cultural, and on-campus activities
Assisting with special events such as mock interviews and graduation ceremonies
Recommending local places and sharing insights into Canadian culture
Serving as a friendly point of contact and positive ambassador for KPU

IMPACT is a special appreciation afternoon dedicated to celebrating the past and present volunteers of our Short-Term Program.
