Need a credit limit increase to take ELS courses in session 2?
If you are only taking ELS courses and need an increased credit limit so you can register in session 2, please see an International advisor (for International students). English Language Proficiency for success in today's world.
KPU's approach to English language studies enables you to quickly develop university level skills. Towards the end of your Diploma in English Language Studies, KPU allows you to take one or two university courses alongside your English studies.
Permission to Register and Prerequisites
Students are expected to meet all course prerequisites and co-requisites as listed in the current course calendar. Waivers may be requested if you can clearly demonstrate that you have the equivalent skills and knowledge. Students are responsible to complete the "Permission to Register" form and contact one of the department Chair(s): Martyn.Williams@kpu.ca or Lynette.Manton@kpu.ca for their signature and then the student must take the form to Student Enrolment Services for processing.
