Nazanine Hozar is an award-nominated author of the debut novel, Aria, (Knopf, Random House Canada, 2019), published to international acclaim, and of the novel The Small Ones (Knopf, Random House, 2026). Her work has been translated into over 10 languages. As well as teaching creative writing at KPU she is also a creative writing instructor at Simon Fraser University's The Writer's Studio.
