Ontario – Just Launched Fall 2015 Brescia University College, London, Ontario, Nonprofit Management Bachelor’s degree

Brescia business professors Colleen Sharen and Melissa Jean developed Brescia’s 4-year Nonprofit Management degree, building on the non-profit sector’s own analysis of a need for training in leadership, research, finance and marketing. The program was announced in The Globe and Mail, and graduates will earn a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) degree.

    The program is well suited for people who are already in management positions who would like to strengthen the work of their organizations as well as their career trajectories. It's also a great fit for people who are interested in transitioning into a non-profit management role, and for people who have a passion project that they are looking to get off the ground, but need the management skills to launch their initiative.

The Certified Fund Raising Executive International Credentialing Board (CFREICB) is the wholly independent, internationally recognized certifying agency responsible for administering the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) professional designation program. The CFRE is available to professionals in Australia, Canada and the United States.

  • University of the Fraser Valley: Volunteer Management Certificate Program - Introduction to Non-Profit Management course, with funded courses available at Northwest Community College, The College of New Caledonia, Selkirk College, Okanagan College, Vancouver Island University, Northern Lights College and North Island College.
