A landmark entryway to Surrey Campus, the Welcome Plaza is envisioned to be a buzzing hub of movement and gathering. Once a parking lot, this weather protected, accessible, illuminated walkway will invite pedestrians, transit riders, and cyclists to campus, providing a welcoming access route from the R6 Rapid Bus stop. Designed as a flexible use space, the Welcome Plaza can accommodate foodtrucks and additional seating during community events.
