Co-op Awards
The Co-op Awards recognize outstanding Co-op students who have demonstrated exceptional performance, dedication, and contribution in their Co-op roles. These awards celebrate the achievements of students who have excelled in applying their academic knowledge to real-world work experiences, making significant impacts in their workplaces, and showcasing professional growth.
Co-op Awards applications are now closed.
Thank you to all the students who applied for the awards. Winners will be contacted directly by Student Awards and Financial Assistance in early Spring 2026.
Applicants must be currently registered in a Co-op work term in Fall 2025 OR have successfully completed a Co-op work term in Spring 2025, or Summer 2025.
Your application must include at least one (1) employer support letter from a Co-op work term mentioned in your responses. You may include experiences from more than one work term, but you need to provide a support letter for at least one of them. The letter should:
- State your name, job title, and dates of employment
- Be from your Co-op supervisor (mentor will also be accepted)
- Briefly describe your contributions and their experience working with you
Extra letters from instructors, volunteer coordinators, etc. are welcome but not required. You can review an example of an employer support letter to help guide you.
Note: The selection committee considers previous award winners to ensure as many students as possible have the opportunity to receive an award.
