Important Information
IMPORTANT - Co-op applications for this intake are reviewed in early Summer 2023. Credits in progress during Spring 2023 will count toward your completed credits.
- Students approved in this intake are eligible to complete COOP 1101 in Fall 2023 or later, if still eligible.
- Make sure to complete COOP 1101 by the maximum credits for your Co-op program, as stated in the University Calendar. In-progress courses in Spring 2023 may exceed the maximum credits for your program and make you ineligible for Co-op.
- Students in the following programs are asked to consider Spring 2023 in-progress courses as completed when applying to Co-op due to the shorter nature of diploma programs:
- Computer Information Systems
- Marketing Management
- Public Relations
- Operations and Supply Chain Management (Post-Baccalaureate)
- Human Resources Management (Post-Baccalaureate)

KPU is about experiential learning—where thought meets action. Apply for a Co-op program to alternate between study and paid work semesters, using your course knowledge and skills on the job. KPU Co-operative Education programs have received accreditation from Co-operative Education and Work Integrated Learning (CEWIL). This accreditation provides national recognition and an affirmation that our Co-op programs comply with standards and guidelines. Maintaining accreditation criteria helps build quality into existing Co-op programs and provides a benchmark for setting up new Co-op programs.
