How to Post a Co-op Job

Information Checklist

For any option, be sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

Job Description
  • Detailed list of all tasks and responsibilities
Posting Information
  • Date you would like to receive applications
  • Contact person
Position Details
  • Approximate start date
  • Work term duration 4 or 8 months (full-time)
  • Physical address of work site
  • Salary or wage information - Starting November 1, 2023, B.C. employers must include pay details when posting job opportunities. Learn more about this on the Province of B.C.'s webpage
Documents Requested
  • Cover letter
  • Resume
  • Other

Posting the Co-op Job

  1. Post directly to Career Connection (refer to Information Checklist)
  2. Email the co-op job description to co-op@kpu.ca (refer to Information Checklist)

Reposting the same position for a different semester?

  • Email co-op@kpu.ca
  • Include:
    • your employer name
    • job title of past position
    • semester when the position was posted
    • any changes/modifications
  • If the job description is the same, we will find it and post it for you. If there are any changes, feel free to send us an updated version.
  • Let us know if your Co-op position is funded through a government grant that requires students to hold Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or other residency status.

For all job postings, let us know if you require a confirmation that the job has been received and posted. We will respond within 1 business day if requested.
