The course aims to address key challenges using molecular tools: Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and quantitative PCR (qPCR) technology. By leveraging PCR and qPCR data, participants will learn how to enhance the efficiency, productivity, and sustainability of their farming practices. This technology provides precise and timely information on disease presence, genetic traits, soil health, and food safety, leading to better decision-making, reduced losses, and improved agriculture quality.
The three-day workshop consists of both synchronous online modules with group discussions and in-person, hands-on lab experience. Online sessions will be recorded so that modules can be viewed at a later time to accommodate varying schedules.
