The Stationary Woodworking Shop Equipment Safety course is designed for high school teachers with limited or no experience using woodworking equipment.
This course is typically delivered in partnership with school districts and offered to pre-arranged cohorts rather than through open registration.

What You Will Learn
The course aims to provide the essential skills needed to teach woodworking classes safely. Through a combination of lectures, discussions, and hands-on projects, participants will learn to identify safety hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies for stationary power tools. They will also master proper equipment setup procedures. By the end of the course, participants will apply their skills to demonstrate fundamental woodworking techniques and complete a project successfully.
