Join us next Tuesday (Nov 14, 2023) in a sharing session on the Global Indigenous Learning Experience (GILE) program, a global exchange experience for Indigenous students of KPU and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from Edith Cowan University (ECU), Australia.
GILE is a 3-week virtual exchange experience for Indigenous students from KPU and ECU. Over 3 weeks, students engage in peer-to-peer discussions and guided workshops from Indigenous faculty members and/or community leaders.
Students dive into topics such as History, Language Revitalization, Indigenous Art/Research and Indigenous futurism. The program is co-produced between Indigenous Centres and International Offices between the two institutions.

- Tracey Lee Taraia, Manager of Kurongkul Katitjin, ECU’s Centre for Indigenous Australia Education and Research
