Kwantlen fine arts students show off "Freshly Squeezed" exhibit

(METRO VANCOUVER, B.C.) Kwantlen Polytechnic University fine arts department presents "Freshly Squeezed", its annual art exhibition by Kwantlen students. This year’s display showcases mixed media artworks. The exhibition is available for viewing from April 1 to April 12 while the exhibition party will take place on April 4, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Both events are open to the public at the Chapel Arts Gallery, 304 Dunlevy Ave., Vancouver.

“An exhibition off of the Kwantlen campus is something we all aspire to achieve. It is an amazing learning experience and we are grateful for the opportunity to gain more exposure by exhibiting our work at a venue like Chapel Arts,” said Jessica Monuk, fine art student and Surrey resident.

The Kwantlen fine arts program offers a comprehensive curriculum focusing on the ideas and techniques of producing contemporary art within a diverse and supportive liberal arts environment. This dynamic program focuses on the integration of studio work with theory and research, and students graduate with the necessary skills to pursue advanced fine arts studies, enter related fields or to pursue a contemporary professional practice.
