Why, 155 years after confederation with Canada, does Indigenous relations remain a front-and-centre issue in B.C.? Dr. George Abbott posed the question to a KPU audience on Oct. 6 to begin his talk, “The Roots of Discord: Lessons from Our Colonial Past.”

KPU grad showcases design prototype at Dutch Design Week

Brian Patterson, a recent Wilson School of Design graduate, will showcase his capstone project at one of the world’s leading design events this fall. BioFilix — a kinetic sculpture that communicates the health and needs of houseplants by changing its form — will be exhibited at Dutch Design Week.
