KPU students recognized at annual scholarships and awards ceremony

(METRO VANCOUVER, B.C.) KPU Foundation hosted its 21st Annual Scholarships & Awards ceremony at the Coast Hotel & Convention Centre in Langley.

The annual scholarships and awards ceremony presents awards, bursaries and scholarships to KPU students who have demonstrated superior academic achievement, financial need or have received recognition in program-specific honours.

The top award recipients are as follows:

LANGLEY

  • Shelley Coburn (Bachelor of Arts, Double Minor) — Received awards totalling $3,800
  • Colin Rachel (Bachelor of Arts in Community Criminal Justice) — Received awards totalling $3,500
  • Trevor Young (Associate of Arts in General Studies) — Received awards totalling $3,500


RICHMOND

  • Deepak Bhanghu (Associate of Science) — Received awards totalling $4,550
  • Sarah Greenfield (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) — Received awards totalling $4,250


SURREY

  • Susan Butler (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) — Received awards totalling $6,000
  • Michela Fiorido (Bachelor of Arts in Criminology) — Received awards totalling $4,000
  • Grant Coffey (Associate of Arts in General Studies) — Received awards totalling $3,900
  • Lauren Baxandall (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) — Received awards totalling $3,800
  • Sarah Hewlett (Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting) — Received awards totalling $3,500


VANCOUVER

  • Justin Langille (Bachelor of Journalism) — Received awards totalling $5,750
  • Sheena Main (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) — Received awards totalling $3,500
  • Lee Van Passen (Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing) — Received awards totalling $3,500
