Our Foundations in Design program gives you meaningful exposure to the industry before you have to commit to one path. That means guest speakers, studio visits, and direct contact with working designers across every discipline. That exposure pays off in a concrete way: our grads go on to study at top design schools across Canada, including Emily Carr, ACAD, and OCAD, or continue straight into one of our six other programs at the Wilson School of Design.
Industry Collaboration
Meet design leaders through small-group guest speaker sessions on campus. Field trips to local studios and events add another layer of exposure to experts, across every discipline, from fashion to product to graphic design. Our program goes beyond lectures and puts you in direct contact with the people working in it. These are often the moments you discover a discipline you hadn’t considered before.
