Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brewery Supervisor to lead our brewing operations team and oversee the daily activities of staff within the brewery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of beer production, and a passion for craft brewing. The Brewery Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive environment for staff and customers alike.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers who process, package, test and grade food and beverage products (beer)
Ability to supervise a minimum of 1 to 2 people
Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with the operations manager
Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Requisition materials and supplies
Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy
Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
Prepare production and other reports.
Experience and Education:
- Post-secondary education in brewing, microbiology or chemistry.
- Minimum of two to three years of experience in a commercial brewery or in the food or beverage processing industry.
- One to two years of supervisory experience.
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification.

Pay Range: $28 per hour (CAD)
