Join Dr. Paul Adams, director of the KPU Applied Genomics Centre (AGC), as he dives into the fundamentals of genetics, how genetic technology and tools have drastically evolved over the past several decades, and the implications of these advances for innovation and sustainability for BC's agriculture sectors and beyond.

After the talk, guests will be invited for a reception where there will be light refreshments and interactive stations to engage with researchers and students from the AGC.

During this interactive talk, Clint Forward, the program coordinator of the game development program at ENTA KPU and experienced developer, will showcase student projects that have turned the constraint of a 'button' into innovative gameplay experiences.
