Open Technology - The 3rd Pillar of Open Education

On Thursday, March 30th, KPU's Teaching & Learning Commons welcomed Clint Lalonde, Manager of Educational Technologies at BCcampus, for a discussion on the third pillar of the open education movement, open technologies. In this session, Clint talked about the connection between open education and open source software, the importance of open technologies to the open education movement, and demonstrated some of the open education technologies that the BC Open EdTech Collaborative have been exploring.
