Becoming a KPU Student

The steps your daughter/son will take to become a KPU student:

  1. Choosing a program
  2. Understanding the entrance requirements and deadlines
  3. Applying to KPU
  4. Submitting documents
  5. Admission offer; what to expect
  6. Registering for courses
  7. Paying tuition

Upgrading - If a student does not meet the requirements for admission, KPU has two options:

  1. The Pathway to Undergraduate Studies is a unique model that pairs upgrading and undergraduate studies with guided support while you work toward an undergraduate program. If you wish to study at KPU, the pathway will get you there.
  2. Qualifying Studies allows you to upgrade English, Math or Science skills through provincially-articulated courses, before taking university classes.

Financial Assistance & Awards

KPU offers over $2,000,000 annually to our students, supporting the journey to success for students through numerous scholarships, bursaries and awards ranging from $250 to $20,000. Over $225,000 is offered to students enrolling at KPU for the first time. Entrance Scholarship recipients also receive priority registration status.

The application deadline for all scholarships is April 11, 2017. For full details, required documents, and application procedures, go to kpu.ca/awards
