Jamie Lamont

Jamie Lamont is an instructor in both the academic and apprentice horticulture programs at KPU. A graduate of Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2006 with a Landscape Design Installation Diploma, Jamie has over 16 years of experience running his own design build installation company. Since graduating from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2006 with a Landscape Design Installation Diploma, Jamie has continued to demonstrate his commitment to learning and furthering his skills. In 2007 he became a Certified Horticulture Technician with both the Softscape and Hardscape Designations, 2009 a Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture and in 2016 achieved a Certificate of Qualification as a (Red Seal) Landscape Horticulturalist.

Jamie’s interests include soccer, lacrosse, coaching, gardening, canoeing, camping, a husband and dad of three.
