I have been a faculty member in the English Department since 2003. In addition to my role as an instructor, I have served as Interim Associate Dean for the Faculty of Arts. For the Kwantlen Faculty Association, I have served as President, Vice-President Negotiations, Vice-President Grievances, and Member-at-Large.
My primary area of focus is writing instruction. Beyond helping students develop their writing and critical thinking skills, I am interested in exploring ways to educate future generations on the interconnected challenges of climate change, environmental degradation, labour exploitation, and corporate influence, while fostering hope, resilience, and a sense of empowerment to effect change.
