I hold a PhD in Literature from the University of British Columbia where my work focused on the intersections between poetry, site-specific performance, and archival practices in post-1945 American art communities. In and outside of the classroom, my research interests continue to explore experimental poetry and performance practices as they align with the politics of community-building, visibility, and documentation. At Kwantlen I teach “Introduction to University Writing” and “Reading and Writing about Genre.”
